Mentoring in Business on a business forum “ProBusiness” in Tambov on the 25th of January 2020.

On the 23rd of December, the representatives of the Mentoring Institute Boris Tkachenko and Ekaterina Geraskina held a “live lecture” on mentoring in entrepreneurship in the framework of the “Business Environment” entrepreneurship skills training programme by Sberbank Russia at the premises of ‘My Business’ in Smolensk.

Youth Business International (YBI) and Citi Foundation announced a new grant arrangement on youth business support in Europe. The “Youth Business Europe” partnership started in 2015 and has been providing aspiring entrepreneurs with an integrated package of financial and non-financial support for strengthening and development of their businesses.

We congratulate our colleague Boris Tkachenko, CEO of Youth Business Russia (YBR), the Mentoring Institute and IBLF Russia on being elected to the Board of Youth Business International (YBI).

Mentoring Institute held a round table at Ryazan ‘Business for Everyone’ Congress on the 6th of December. The members of the mentoring project being implemented in the region for 3 years with support of the Mentoring Institute acted as the speakers.

The Mentoring Day in Yugra held on the 29th of November in the frame of the VIIth International Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship caught a keen interest of Surgut entrepreneurs and inspired them to become mentors and mentees.

On a sunny frosty day, more than 100 participants-entrepreneurs gathered to listen to international speakers and to understand what Mentoring was and whether they needed it.

The Day 1 of the Mentoring Days proved to be the best of all previous years, according to the comments of regular participants and organizers. The long-term experience in holding the Days, coordinated team of international speakers and a special warm atmosphere have done their job.

In the beginning on November, the Youth Business International task group on curriculum development for ‘Entrepreneurial soft skills’ training completed the first 6 modules for 3-day intensive study.

On the 22nd of November, global mentoring experts John Cull and Boris Tkachenko delivered the Mentor Webinar on behalf of YBI in 4 Caribbean countries.
